Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Worcester, MA, requiring C-section circulator experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; candidates without license in hand may be considered if willing to make MA licensure a top priority upon offer
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or above AWHONN fetal monitoring
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required; 3 years strongly preferred (2 years may be considered with travel experience)
- Must be able to circulate C-sections
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
- Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions
Additional Information
- Two pass/fail exams are administered during orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each allows only one attempt; failure results in immediate contract cancellation
- Study materials will be provided prior to and during the compliance process to help candidates prepare for orientation exams
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
