Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) with ARDMS certification to work in a pediatric cardiac unit managing congenital and acquired heart disease across a rotating day and night shift schedule.

Details

• Pediatric cardiac sonography unit within an academic medical center
• Patient population ranges from neonates to adults, with diagnoses including congenital and acquired pediatric cardiac disease
• Approximately 8 visits per day across 3 rooms
• Rotating schedule of 5x8-hour shifts, covering day shifts (8:00–16:30) and night shifts (16:30–8:30)
• Weekends are not required
• On-call required approximately once every 8 weeks
• Floating required within the specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities within clinical scope
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• 12-week contract, 40 hours per week

Requirements

• ARDMS certification required, including RDCS (AE) and RDCS (PE) credentials
• Current BLS required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with neonatal through adult patient populations
• Experience with congenital and acquired pediatric cardiac disease

Additional Information

• Perform cardiac sonography on pediatric patients with congenital and acquired heart conditions
• Scrubs are provided for OR cases; any pediatric-appropriate scrubs are acceptable for non-OR settings
