Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring telemetry reading ability and a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Inpatient Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Telemetry monitoring required (must be able to read telemetry)
• Epic EMR used
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating within skill set may be required, including to sites within 40 miles of the primary facility

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry reading experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Artificial or acrylic nails are not permitted; natural nails must be kept shorter than 1/4 inch
• Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies that may affect the pay rate structure
