Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital assignment, requiring 2+ years of experience, active Indiana licensure, and Cerner proficiency.

• Short-term acute care hospital setting in a Nuclear Medicine unit
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
• Cerner EMR — experience required
• May float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility based on need

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Community hospital experience required
• Active Indiana (or Compact) license required — pending state licensure is not accepted; license required if applicable
• Current BLS, CNMT or NMTCB certification required
• Cerner EMR proficiency required
• 2 supervisor references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• RTO of 5 days or fewer may be auto-approved
• Royal blue scrubs required

• Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have a 12-month gap before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break, prior to reaching the 12-month mark
