Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 12-week assignment at a 350-bed acute care hospital in Brooksville, FL, working Friday through Sunday evening shifts.
Details
- MRI department at a 350-bed acute care hospital in Brooksville, FL
- 12-week contract
- 10-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday through Sunday
- Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis with hospital staff
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience required
- Must have active MRI-related licensure, if applicable
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)

- Black scrubs required for Radiology staff
- Travelers are expected to work holidays on a rotating basis with hospital employees

Cath Lab is REALLY traveler-friendly, they are very accommodating to scheduling requests, stays pretty busy except in summertime because the snowbirds go back up north. There are a few "strong" personalities that can make your days suck if you get on their bad side, but everyone else is pretty great. I extended with no regrets.

Expect to get canceled in the summer for low census.
