Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring Epic proficiency, oncology certifications, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Details
- Work in a Medical Surgical Oncology unit within a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
- 13-week contract
- No call, float, or weekend requirements
Requirements
- Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC
- Preferred certification: OCN
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
- A copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration
- Any employment gaps exceeding 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Navy blue scrubs are required
- RTO is strictly capped at 5 days for the duration of the contract
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
