Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of step-down experience and an Ohio or compact RN license in hand.
Details
- HVTI Step-Down unit within a large academic hospital setting
- Potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED for the same patient population
- Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00am–7:30pm and 7:00pm–7:30am
- Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Every other holiday coverage is required
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty prior to travel
- Minimum 18 months of recent Step-Down experience required (travel experience counts)
- PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
- A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration
Additional Information
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation, and a passing score on both is required
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
