Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel contract requiring at least 2 years of recent OR experience and an active TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur, though cross-campus floating will be rare
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid Compact (NLC) license — no pending licensure accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required for candidates with prior travel experience; minimum 3 years required for those without travel experience
• ADN degree required (BSN not required for this position)
• Current BLS certification required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility — no exceptions

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered — at least one completed prior travel assignment is required
• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment, candidates must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 of those holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application, as it will not be approved if not listed upfront
• Vaccination status documentation required for consideration
