Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week weekend contract requiring 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department in Pittsfield, MA
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Schedule consists of two 16-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Participation in a holiday rotation is required
• On-call coverage may be required as needed
• After midnight, the department transitions to on-call coverage
• GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment used
• Meditech Expanse is the EMR system (highly preferred)
• You will always work alongside another Tech Aide or MRI Tech — solo shifts are not required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current MRI/Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience required
• Active ARRT (MR) certification required
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must be willing to work weekends and take call as needed
• Personal vehicle required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• License required if applicable
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required for consideration
• Current MRI skills checklist (within the past year) required for consideration

• 13-week contract located in Pittsfield, MA
• Non-billable orientation of 8 hours
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and requests submitted after the time of offer will not be approved
