Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with ARDMS registration and multi-modality scanning skills for a night shift travel contract.
Details
- Hospital-based ultrasound department
- Must be able to independently scan all modalities including General, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Pediatric ultrasound — Echo excluded
- Uses Philips ultrasound equipment
- Meditech EMR — experience strongly preferred
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- No on-call requirements
- Position involves working independently for portions of the shift
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of sonography experience required
- ARDMS registration required
- Proficiency across General, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Pediatric ultrasound modalities required
- Experience with Philips ultrasound equipment
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
- Active KY or compact license required if applicable
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- AHA-issued certification copies required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered provided they have substantial sonography experience
- Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be accepted
- Flu vaccine is required; no exemptions will be granted
- On-site drug screening may be conducted on the first day of the assignment
- Any requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission
