Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with ARDMS registration and multi-modality scanning skills for a night shift travel contract.

Details

• Hospital-based ultrasound department
• Must be able to independently scan all modalities including General, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Pediatric ultrasound — Echo excluded
• Uses Philips ultrasound equipment
• Meditech EMR — experience strongly preferred
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• No on-call requirements
• Position involves working independently for portions of the shift

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of sonography experience required
• ARDMS registration required
• Proficiency across General, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Pediatric ultrasound modalities required
• Experience with Philips ultrasound equipment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
• Active KY or compact license required if applicable
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• AHA-issued certification copies required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered provided they have substantial sonography experience
• Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be accepted
• Flu vaccine is required; no exemptions will be granted
• On-site drug screening may be conducted on the first day of the assignment
• Any requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission
