Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient ortho/neuro setting in Sylva, NC, with experience in orthopedics and neurology required.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting focused on orthopedic and neurological cases
• 1:1 patient-to-therapist ratio
• Day shift schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekend or call requirements anticipated, though occasional weekend coverage is possible
• Occasional floating may be required depending on staffing needs
• EMR: Redoc (outpatient)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience preferred; new graduates will also be considered
• Orthopedic and neurological PT experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• The facility is an 86-bed acute care hospital offering orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, emergency medicine, and physical therapy services
• Located in Sylva, NC, a scenic small town at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
