Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment in New Orleans, LA.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting
- Preferred experience includes invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart, IR, neuro intervention, pacemakers, and EKG
- Equipment includes Philips single-plane/bi-plane, Inari, Pembra, Pounce, Impella, IABP, US CSI Shockwave, Rotoblade, IVUS (Boston, Philips), Carto Abbott, and X-Per
- Epic EMR experience required
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend call required
- Call schedule is every 4th day and one weekend per month
- Holiday coverage required for 2 major and 1 minor holidays
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required
- Required certifications: ARRT(R) or RCIS, BLS, and LSRT (temporary LSRT accepted; typically issued within 3–5 days once the fee is paid and proof of ARRT is received)
- Active Louisiana license required if applicable
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Experience with Philips single-plane/bi-plane and other listed cath lab equipment required
- A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Any permanent employee of an LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
