Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic clinic, requiring 2+ years of experience in orthopedics, personal injury, and workers' comp cases.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting focused on orthopedics
- Patient population includes hand injuries/tendinopathy, hip fractures/injuries, and knee injuries/tendinopathy
- Average caseload of 12-14 patients per day, approximately 60 patients per week
- Clinics typically double book patients, though average caseload remains consistent
- Uses RainTree EMR for documentation
- Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- No weekend scheduling required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Experience in orthopedics, outpatient, personal injury, and workers' compensation cases required
- New graduates will not be considered
- Skills in safety and injury prevention preferred
- Knowledge of billing and workers' compensation preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Full support staff available at every location, including front office staff and PT Aides/Techs to assist clinicians
- First day of assignment (FDI) provided by the Clinic Director shortly before start date
- Orientation includes meeting staff, EMR introduction, and shadowing treatments, with clinicians expected to manage a full caseload by day two
- Travelers will carry a caseload similar to that of regular clinic employees
- Travel pairs accepted
