Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment, no new grads accepted.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting focused on orthopedic care
• Patient population includes ankle sprains, low back pain, spinal conditions, joint replacements, and various UE/LE injuries
• Utilizes techniques such as gait training, myofascial release, spinal mobilization, taping, and McKenzie method
• Caseload averages 12-14 patients per day, approximately 60 per week
• Clinics typically double book patients as part of standard scheduling
• 5x8 day shift schedule, 12:00pm-8:00pm
• No weekend scheduling required
• Uses RainTree EMR system
• 13-week contract length

Requirements

• Current PT license required if applicable
• No new graduates accepted
• Experience managing an orthopedic outpatient caseload required
• Travel pairs accepted

Additional Information

• Full support staff available at each location, including front office staff and PT Aides/Techs to assist with patient flow
• First day orientation includes meeting staff, introduction to the RainTree EMR, and shadowing treatments
• Second day involves treating patients independently
• Main responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of orthopedic patients, including post-op care and specialized techniques like biofeedback and pelvic floor training
