Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position in Lake Geneva, WI, requiring TNCC or TNS and multiple certifications for a 13-week mid/evening shift contract.

• Work in the Emergency Room (ER) department of a hospital setting
• Mid/evening shift schedule
• Weekend rotation required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
• Prior ER/Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Education verification required for consideration

Additional Information

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient care
• Performs patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and evaluates outcomes in coordination with physicians and clinic policy
• Administers medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, standards of care, and state practice laws
• Participates in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance and peer review
• Applies critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
