Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Outpatient Oncology position in Elizabethtown, KY, requiring an active KY or compact RN license and ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification.

Details

• Outpatient oncology setting providing cancer treatment and oncology care services
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements based on Mon–Fri schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration Provider Card required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Previous nursing experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, treatment implementation, and patient/family education
• Coordinates admission, transfer, and discharge activities in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Delegates tasks to and oversees team members in the execution of patient care plans
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, pressure ulcer prevention, and CAUTI reduction
