Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification for a travel assignment in California.

Details

  • Nuclear Medicine department in an acute care hospital setting
  • 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • No on-call or weekend requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
  • Current BLS (AHA) required
  • ARRT (N - Nuclear Medicine) and/or NMTCB certification required
  • CA Venipuncture licensure required
  • CA license required if applicable
  • 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Performs routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures to produce quality diagnostic images for physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Works independently, applying sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures in a timely manner
  • Responsible for competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients and their support networks
  • May assist in orienting other department staff as needed
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
  • Former employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the assignment
