Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment, with first-time travelers welcome to apply.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy department of an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Floating may be required to nearby sister hospital locations in Laconia, NH and Franklin, NH
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience in an acute care setting
• Active NH RN license or compact license required at time of consideration — temporary licenses are not accepted; license required if applicable
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• 2 recent professional references from a Charge RN or Manager in the specialty (3 references total required upon commitment, with 2 from leadership)
• Valid driver's license with address matching demographics on file
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Additional Information

• Weekly orientation provided
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a local pay rate
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former permanent staff are eligible to return as a traveler after a minimum 12-month break in service
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of profile submission; the July 4th weekend cannot be approved
• Copies of certifications required for consideration
