Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel contract, requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications with a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital emergency department setting
• Level III Trauma Center
• 30 private ER rooms including a 6-room ED Observation Unit (EDOU)
• 6 fast track beds staffed with a PA for minor, non-urgent cases
• 1 seclusion room plus 5 additional monitored rooms
• Patient population includes trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases
• Average of 100 patients seen per day
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• EMR: Allscripts Sunrise
• Medication system: Omnicell

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Emergency department experience required
• Current certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), and TNCC
• BSN not required
