Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III Trauma Emergency Department position requiring TNCC and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital emergency department setting
• 30 private ER rooms, including a 6-room ED observation unit (EDOU)
• 6 fast track beds staffed with a PA for minor, non-urgent cases
• 1 seclusion room and 5 additional monitored rooms
• Level III Trauma Center handling trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• Averages approximately 100 patients per day
• Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours
• Charting via Allscripts Sunrise EMR
• Medication management via Omnicell
• 12-hour evening/mid shifts (3x12 schedule)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BSN not required

• Scrubs are not provided; any color except all black is acceptable
• Orientation is 8 hours
