Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a pediatric cardiac cath lab at a top-ranked children's hospital, requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of cath lab experience.
Details
- Pediatric cardiac cath lab setting at a Magnet-recognized, Level 1 trauma, academic teaching hospital
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend availability required with full scheduling flexibility
- On-call required as needed, approximately 1–2 shifts per week and 1–2 weekends per month
- Epic and Sensis used for charting (experience preferred)
- Free parking available for travelers
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience required; pediatric experience preferred but not required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, ARRT (R), ARRT Advanced Certification, and Fluoroscopy Permit
- California CRT license and Fluoroscopy Permit required prior to start date — candidates may be considered without the permit in hand if they will obtain it before starting
- License required if applicable
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Must be available to work weekends as scheduled
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are not eligible for this position
- Maximum of 6 days RTO for the duration of the assignment; all time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- Note for ARRT Radiography certified after 1/1/2011: the typical processing time for the CA CRT license and Fluoroscopy Permit is approximately 30 days once completed applications are received by the board
- Blue scrubs required
