Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization, IR, and EP procedures, with Epic EMR proficiency required.
Details
- Hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting
- Procedures include stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral upper and lower extremity interventions, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Cardiac catheterization experience required; IR and EP experience preferred
- Primary equipment includes Philips single-plane; Siemens and bi-plane experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend requirement: once every fifth week
- Call requirement: 5–8 shifts depending on staffing needs
- Holiday coverage required
- No float requirement
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required; 3 years preferred
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable — temporary LSRT accepted (typically issued within 3–5 days upon fee payment and proof of ARRT certification)
- Proficiency with Philips single-plane equipment required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral vascular procedures, upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Supervisory reference dated within the past 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- Any employment gaps exceeding 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this position
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
