Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring AHA BLS certification and night shift availability with rotating weekends and holidays.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Night shift schedule (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued certificates only)
• Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent residence must be 100+ miles from the facility's service area — local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

• Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Travel RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
