Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience across ED, inpatient, and OR settings.
Details
- Level 1 Trauma Center hospital setting with experience required in the ED, inpatient, and OR
- Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- 4x10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- No call or weekend shifts required
- Holiday coverage required if a holiday falls on a scheduled shift
- Siemens, McKesson, or GE equipment experience preferred
- Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience required, with at least 1 year in the specialty
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required; ACLS preferred
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center, ED, inpatient, and OR settings required
- Active MO or Compact license required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable
- Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift or move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates residing within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced pay rate
- Position is in an active healthcare environment requiring physical mobility and potential exposure to contagious illnesses
