Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and an active TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (schedule may be adjusted based on manager needs)
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• On-call requirements to be discussed during the interview
• Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may be required on a rare basis
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license in Tennessee (TN) or a compact state license currently in hand — pending licensure is not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required for candidates with prior travel experience; minimum 3 years of recent OR experience required for candidates without prior travel experience
• ADN degree required (BSN not required for this position)
• A valid Driver's License is required for consideration
• Vaccination documentation required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not eligible — at least one completed prior travel assignment is required
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• If a candidate was previously employed at the facility, eligibility for rehire must be confirmed prior to consideration
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved if not listed at the time of consideration
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment, candidates must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, candidates must be willing to work at least 1
