Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Float Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU position requiring 2+ years of cardiac experience, Epic EMR proficiency, and active ACLS and BLS certifications.
Details
- Float position covering Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units
- Patient population includes cardiac patients, post-cardiac catheterization cases, and general med/surg telemetry
- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend requirement (Friday and Saturday nights for night shift)
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand; licensure verifiable via Nursys
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required — must reflect prior clinical need, not obtained solely for compliance purposes
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac experience required, including care of post-cardiac cath and PCU patients
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
