Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with acute care experience and Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) expertise for a hospital-based assignment working Tuesday through Saturday day shifts.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting
- Patient diagnoses include stroke, TBI, other neurological conditions, general medical/surgical, orthopedic, and critical care
- Tuesday through Saturday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Epic EMR — experience required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required
- Acute care experience required
- CCC-SLP certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies required
- MBSImP certification strongly preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Valid SLP license required if applicable
- Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
