Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Florida requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• 13-week contract with 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts
• Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Mandatory float within the Women's service line; optional float to other areas of the house as a sitter or resource nurse
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, and BLS
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
• Must successfully pass a proctored Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course administered by the unit prior to starting — candidates who do not pass cannot retest for 6 months

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates — no radius rule applies
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination must be on file — booster is not currently required
• A copy of your COVID vaccination card will be required as part of the hiring process
