Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a combined Med/Surg and Emergency Dept night shift position at a Critical Access Hospital in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience and an active CO RN license.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting serving both Med/Surg and Emergency Dept patient populations
• Patient care areas include adult med/surg, ortho/spine post-op, and emergency room
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week contract
• No holiday time off will be approved — all holidays must be worked

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Colorado RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
• Spine/ortho post-op patient experience required, with emphasis on Med/Surg
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, and TNCC — all must be current
• COVID vaccination required per state mandate

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a permanent address at least 65 miles from the facility — local travelers will not be considered
• Facility housing may be available in a shared 2-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment; no pets and no smoking are strictly enforced
