Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring both OR Circulator and PACU experience, with Cerner proficiency and on-call availability.
Details
- Work setting is a PACU/OR environment at a general hospital in New Mexico
- Caseload averages 6–8 OR cases per day, with the majority being GI Endoscopy and EGD procedures
- Additional case types include Orthopedic, General Surgery, Podiatry, and OB/GYN
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- On-call required every 3rd day with rotating every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- EMR: Cerner (experience required)
Requirements
- Active NM or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an OR setting required
- Experience in both OR Circulator and PACU roles required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
- Must be able to stay late as patient care needs dictate
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
