Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist (Radiologic Technologist - MR) for an outpatient MRI clinic setting, requiring ARRT (MR) certification and at least 1 year of MRI experience.

Details

• Outpatient MRI clinic setting within a large health system's radiology division
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM; 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• On-call shifts include pager response for after-hours nights, weekends, and holiday coverage
• Position requires flexibility to work varied shift times, lengths, and locations
• Siemens and GE MRI equipment experience applicable
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved or recognized Health Science program
• Proficiency with Siemens and/or GE MRI equipment preferred
• Venipuncture skills preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently
• Active MR license required, if applicable
• COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility
• DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Produces high-quality MR images in accordance with radiology department standards
• Practices and enforces safety guidelines for patients, themselves, and support personnel
• Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations and shift assignments
• No pending licensure accepted; active license must be in hand
• Travelers who have reached one continuous calendar year on assignment must take a 30–60 day break before returning to a new assignment
• First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible; 1 year of specialty experience is required
