Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position at a Level III Trauma Center in Lewisville, TX, requiring a TX or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.

• ICU position within an acute care hospital that is a Level III Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Floating required on an as-needed basis
• Documentation system: Meditech

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for ICU RNs
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Dress code requires clean and healthy nails with no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails
• Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
• Visible piercings other than ears (including nose rings and tongue rings) are prohibited
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
