Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience working with elderly populations for a 13-week hospice/PACE program assignment in Grand Junction, CO.

Details

  • Work within a PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) setting focused on comprehensive, coordinated care for seniors
  • Patient population consists of elderly and frail individuals requiring support for daily living and independence
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with elderly and frail populations required
  • 1–3 years of experience as an OT preferred
  • Current NBCOT registration required
  • Active Colorado OT license required (license required if applicable)
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate auto insurance required
  • Minimum 2 years of overall experience required

Additional Information

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to support patients in achieving optimal independence, safety, and quality of life
  • Provide therapeutic interventions aligned with interdisciplinary care plans
  • PACE is a federally and state-funded program serving seniors aged 55+ to help them live safely in their homes
