Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience working with elderly populations for a 13-week hospice/PACE program assignment in Grand Junction, CO.
Details
- Work within a PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) setting focused on comprehensive, coordinated care for seniors
- Patient population consists of elderly and frail individuals requiring support for daily living and independence
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program required
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with elderly and frail populations required
- 1–3 years of experience as an OT preferred
- Current NBCOT registration required
- Active Colorado OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate auto insurance required
- Minimum 2 years of overall experience required
Additional Information
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to support patients in achieving optimal independence, safety, and quality of life
- Provide therapeutic interventions aligned with interdisciplinary care plans
- PACE is a federally and state-funded program serving seniors aged 55+ to help them live safely in their homes
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
