Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and Epic experience for a 13-week travel assignment in an active IR department performing a broad range of vascular and interventional procedures.
Details
- Interventional Radiology department within an acute care hospital setting
- Procedures include angiograms, venograms, PICC, port-a-cath, vertebroplasty, GI bleed embolization, biliary tube exchange, nephrostomy, IVUS, fistulagram, transjugular biopsy, IVC filter removal, and thrombectomy for neuro cases
- Equipment used includes EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti
- Epic EMR is required
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, with a day off to be determined
- On-call is required
- Primarily based at one campus with occasional floating to other campuses as needed based on staffing and case volume
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS required
- KY license (KBMIRT) required if applicable — may be pending at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with thrombectomy for neuro cases required
- Two supervisor references required for consideration

- Former employees must have been separated from the facility for at least one year before being considered as a traveler
- Any requested time off must be disclosed upfront; candidates should expect to work some holidays
- COVID vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted); flu vaccination required
- Scrubs must not display any agency or brand logos — strictly enforced
- No nose rings or gauged earrings permitted
- Fingernails must be less than 1/4" in length; associates in direct patient care must have natural fingernails (polish is acceptable)
- No cafeteria on-site; a refrigerator and microwave are available
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
