Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a 13-week night shift assignment at an acute care hospital in Ogden, UT, requiring a minimum of 3 years of scanning experience and ARDMS registration.

Details

• Located in the main hospital building of a 232-bed acute care facility with 4 dedicated ultrasound rooms
• Night shift schedule: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Procedures include abdomen/pelvic, small parts, breast, and vascular ultrasound studies
• Equipment includes GE Logiq and Parks systems
• EMR: Meditech with PACS
• Weekend and call rotation required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of ultrasound scanning experience
• Active ARDMS registration with at least one specialty
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Must have worked in the ultrasound specialty within the last 6 months
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• RVT certification is preferred
• Breast ultrasound experience is preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Black scrubs required
• The ideal candidate is self-motivated, positive, and willing to mentor new hires or students
