Description

American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience, including outpatient setting experience, for a 13-week travel contract in Massena, NY.

Details

• Community hospital ultrasound department
• Patient population ranges from pediatric to adult
• Procedures include OB, abdominal, DVT, carotids, and breast ultrasounds, as well as invasive procedures such as thoracentesis and paracentesis
• Biopsies performed occasionally (preferred experience)
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Call required every 3rd day after 6:00 PM and every 3rd weekend

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience
• Outpatient setting experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• ARDMS certification and current BLS required
• NY state license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• ARRT (Sonography), RDMS (AB, OB, BR, Peds), and RVT certifications preferred
