Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Goldsboro, NC, requiring an active NC or compact RN license and a minimum of one year of nursing experience.

Details

• 52-bed Emergency Department with an additional 4-bed Behavioral Health Unit (BHU), providing 24/7 all-ages emergency care
• Average census of approximately 196 admissions per day
• Patient ratio of 5:2
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• On-call required, approximately 1 shift per pay period
• 4 weekend shifts required within every 6-week period
• Holiday coverage required as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina or a compact license recognized in NC
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI-B certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
