Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring arterial line experience, ACLS certification, and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience.
Details
- Day/Night rotation schedule, 36 hours per week
- Critical care unit environment managing complex cardiovascular and surgical ICU patients
- Patient population includes ventilated patients and post-surgical patients requiring lines, tubes, and drains
- Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring, PA lines, and waveform interpretation relevant to this unit
- Vasoactive medication management including pressors, inotropes, and vasopressors
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA-issued only)
- Arterial line experience required
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
- Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ICP monitoring, ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs preferred
- Experience with PA lines and waveform interpretation preferred
- Two manager references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position — local candidates are not accepted
- Responsibilities include assisting with line insertion and maintenance for post-surgical patients
- Care involves management of ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs in SICU/NCCU/PICU settings
