Description

American Traveler is hiring a Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience, ARDMS or CCI registration, and Epic proficiency for an outpatient cardiology setting.

Details

• Outpatient cardiology/echo setting
• Performs a broad range of vascular and cardiac sonography studies including abdominal aorta, aortic and arterial graft studies, carotid, color flow, Doppler studies, duplex, lower and upper extremity arterial and venous, M-mode, renal artery duplex, and transcranial Doppler
• Adult patient population
• Uses Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac sonography or vascular sonography experience required
• Must be registered through ARDMS or CCI; acceptable credentials include RDCS with RVT, or RCS with RVS — dual registration (Echo and Vascular) is preferred; candidates with RVS certification and Echo experience will also be considered
• Adult echocardiography experience required
• Proficiency with Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS systems
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (two attempts allowed); candidates should prepare independently in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
