Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a PACU/Perioperative Care position in Boston, MA, requiring at least 1 year of PACU experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital-based Center for Perioperative Care, covering both pre-op and post-op areas
- Unit operates Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM – 9:30 PM
- Mix of shifts available: 5:30 AM–6:00 PM and 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
- Schedule is 4 x 10-hour day/evening shifts per week, totaling 40 hours/week
- EMR: Epic (charting experience required)
- No weekend shifts based on unit operating hours
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required — must be AHA only
- Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
- No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public transportation is recommended, and public parking lots are available at candidate's expense
- Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
