Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule on night shifts.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) of an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a on a rotating 36/48-hour weekly basis (alternating 3x12 and 4x12 shifts)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY or Compact RN license currently in hand — no exceptions
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU or relevant RN experience required
• Valid driver's license with address matching permanent residence required for consideration
• Two professional references required: at least one Charge Nurse or higher and one supervisor, both completed within the last year
• Middle name required (or confirmation that no middle name exists)

Additional Information

• Must be willing and able to work the rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule — candidates unable to accept this schedule will not be considered
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; all RTO must be declared upfront and no changes will be accepted after submission
• Must be available to work at least one major or one minor holiday during the contract
• Travelers who have worked within the ARH system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
• Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; paired travelers will not be placed on the same shift or unit
