Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Michigan, requiring 2+ years of OR experience and call coverage responsibilities.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room setting
- 10-hour shifts, 6:45am–5:15pm, working non-consecutive days with a random day off Monday–Friday
- One weeknight of call per week, Monday–Thursday, 7pm–11pm
- One weekend on call per month, rotating between day call (Saturday–Sunday, 7am–7pm) and night call (Friday–Sunday, 7pm–7am)
- Holidays will be assigned unless contracted off
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license required; LARA and Nursys verification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of RN OR experience required
- Experience in Ortho, General, Endo-Vascular, Urology, or OB OR preferred
- A skills checklist completed within one year of application is required
Additional Information
- Current full-time employees of the facility are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment
- If there is a license hit on Michigan licensure, candidates are encouraged to provide a written explanation for manager review
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
- References are not required for consideration
