Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with C-arm experience for an OR-focused position requiring both IL and IA licensure.

Details

• Primary setting is the OR, with approximately 90% of the workload involving C-arm fluoroscopy
• Remaining time is spent performing general X-rays for ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• Floating between facilities is required
• EMR system is Epic
• Trauma level varies by facility location: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 trauma centers are included in this network

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience required
• C-arm experience is required
• Active IL license required at time of consideration; application for IA license is also required
• License required if applicable
• Active BLS and all required certifications must be current at time of consideration — pending certifications will not be accepted
• ARRT certification required
• Driver's License required
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required
• Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Must not have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months
• Prior travel contract experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include intraoperative C-arm fluoroscopy in the OR as well as general diagnostic X-rays for ED, inpatient, and outpatient cases
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week and 1 day during the Christmas/New Year's holiday window
