Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and active ARRT (N) or CNMT certification for a travel contract in Texas.
Details
- Nuclear Medicine department setting
- Gamma cameras including SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanners, nuclear medicine computers, and cardiac stress equipment are used
- Siemens and Spectrum Imaging experience is highly preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 24 months of current Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Active ARRT certification with Nuclear Medicine (N) specialty, or CNMT required within 6 months of hire
- Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from the Texas Medical Board required (license required if applicable)
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Ability to administer intramuscular and IV injections and start IV lines
- Must be able to operate Gamma cameras including SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanners, nuclear medicine computers, and cardiac stress equipment
- Working knowledge of nuclear medicine technology and related fields including chemistry, physics, mathematics, and biomedical sciences
- Basic knowledge of nuclear medicine therapeutic treatments and EKG interpretation for cardiac studies
- 2 supervisory references from within the last year required for consideration
- Proof of taxable address required for consideration (acceptable documents include Driver's License, utility bill, lease/rental agreement, mortgage statement, homeowner's or renter's insurance, voter registration, bank statement, auto insurance, or tax return)
