Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg and Skilled Nursing night shift position requiring an active CA RN license, Cerner experience, and the ability to care for both adult and pediatric patients.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit serving both adult and pediatric (non-critical) patient populations
• Float to the Skilled Nursing department required
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active California (CA) RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Experience caring for non-critical pediatric patients required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Clinicians must be familiar with Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs), including alarm management, use of patient restraints, infection prevention, two-step patient identification, medication labeling and calculation error prevention, and identifying safety risks including signs of suicide risk
• Hospital orientation is paid in full
• This is a rapid response/crisis priority position
