Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR/PACU RN for a travel contract in California requiring active CA RN licensure and proficiency in both Epic and Cerner EMR systems.

OR/PACU setting with 10-hour day shifts
8-week contract duration

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications required
Minimum 3 years of OR/PACU experience required
Proficiency in both Epic and Cerner EMR systems required; minimum 6 months of Epic experience within the last 12 months
Recent experience in specialty within the last 3 months required
Active, unrestricted license with no prior hits required
2 supervisor references required: one from the past year and one from within the past two years
Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

No RTO will be approved; candidates with more than 5 days of RTO requested will not be considered
Specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year required
All employment gaps of one month or longer must be documented and explained

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, and I always knew what the next step was, i never felt like i was left in the dark. One of my favorite things has been how communicative everyone is. Whether it’s my recruiter, Amanda, or Iranna from payroll, I always get a quick response when I have a question. It’s nice working with a team that actually follows up and keeps you in the loop. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
