Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for an 8-week Epic conversion contract requiring proficiency in both Epic and Cerner, with an active CA RN license.

• Operating Room (OR) setting
• 8-week contract supporting an Epic EMR conversion
• Epic and Cerner EMR systems used — proficiency in both is required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA)
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
• Minimum 6 months of Epic experience within the last 12 months required
• Cerner experience required
• Must have worked in the OR specialty within the last 3 months
• Active, unrestricted RN license with no prior disciplinary actions on record
• 2 supervisory references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is an Epic conversion support contract lasting 8 weeks
• No RTO (time off) will be approved during this contract — candidates requesting more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior hit on their RN license will not be considered
• OR specialty skills checklist completed within the past year is required
• All gaps in employment of one month or longer must be documented and explained on the clinical work history or resume
