Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 15 months of hospital-based X-Ray experience to work across outpatient, inpatient, ED, and surgical settings in Iowa.

Details

• Serves outpatient, inpatient, ED, and surgical patient populations in a hospital setting
• High-volume environment averaging 100–120 scans per day
• Equipment includes Siemens X-ray rooms and portables, and a GE C-arm in the OR
• Techs are responsible for escorting outpatients and transporting ED patients
• Occasional OR procedures may include cystoscopy and laparoscopic cholecystectomy
• Epic EMR — experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 months of X-Ray experience in a hospital setting required; 24 months required for first-time travelers
• Inpatient and ED setting experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• ARRT and BLS required
• Iowa Radiology license required if applicable — candidates without an active Iowa license must obtain one during onboarding
• GE C-arm experience in a surgical setting highly preferred
• OR setting experience preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory professional reference from within the past 2 years preferred for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply but must have a minimum of 24 months of X-Ray experience
• Candidates who have worked at this facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
• Travelers are expected to cover 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
