Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of Med/Surg experience and current telemetry skills.

Details

• Medical/Surgical-Telemetry unit setting with 20 to 34 beds depending upon unit
• Typical patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to any Med/Surg unit is required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required, must be in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association required, must be in hand
• NIHSS certification required, must be in hand
• Minimum 2 years of current Medical/Surgical experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Willingness to float to any Med/Surg unit required
• Candidate must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Skills checklist for Medical/Surgical experience, current within 1 year, required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required

Additional Information

• Personal scrubs of any color are permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, and must be submitted with initial profile
• Travelers may not take all holidays off
• Scheduling and time off requests must be finalized prior to submission and cannot be changed at offer or interview stage
