Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring at least 2 years of Medical Surgical experience, telemetry skills, and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Medical-surgical hospital unit setting
• Telemetry monitoring required for patient population
• Floating to any Med/Surg unit is required
• Block scheduling is not available for this assignment

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand prior to consideration
• Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Current certifications required and must be in hand: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• A supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration

Additional Information

• Willingness to float to any Med/Surg unit is mandatory for this role
• All time-off requests (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application — requests made after an offer is extended may result in a rescinded offer
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
