Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with acute care experience and an active WA license for a day shift position at a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center.
Details
- Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
- OT Acute Care Hospital unit with floating between units and facilities within the state required
- Day shift, 5x8 hours (7:00–15:00)
- Caseload of 8–9 patients per day
- Weekend rotation required — approximately 1 weekend every 4 weeks
- Epic EMR used; experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Washington State OT license required — must be in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
- Acute care experience is a hard-stop requirement
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS certification required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Active professional license required at time of consideration
- License required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates must be self-driven, hardworking, and collaborative team players
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Scrubs of any color are accepted
- No parking fee at this facility
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position; requests should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
